Bad Bunny named as the 2026 Spring Fair headliner.

That’s right! We heard you and listened. After the outstanding success of Hoptober Fest with Khalid as our headliner, Hopkins has decided to come back even bigger and better with Bad Bunny as our headliner for the 2026 Spring Fair. After his outstanding record of a halftime performance at the LX Super Bowl with over 128.2 million viewers (making it the fourth most-watched halftime show of all time), he has decided to come to the Atlantic Coast to complete what he calls an “Ivy League Tour.” This tour will kick off with Hopkins as the opening venue and travel northward, ending at Dartmouth College. In a recent interview with The News-Letter, Bad Bunny reflected on his decision to conduct this tour.

“I wanted to complete this tour to reignite the flames in the scholars of the future generations... people [at Hopkins] don’t seem to have much joy. I wanna change that,” he said.

This was also why he wanted to kick off the tour with Hopkins — to reignite a flame that could never be extinguished.

Due to both the time constraints and resounding success of the Super Bowl performance, Bad Bunny has decided to perform the same set for the Ivy League Tour. However, as many have pointed out, Lady Gaga is currently on her own tour and won’t be able to perform “Die With a Smile,” but that didn’t deter Bad Bunny. Despite her absence, he still felt the piece played an integral role in the set and has decided to bring in a local artist from each of the universities to perform the number. I personally find the idea of integrating the local community into each tour creates a unique aspect that encourages the audience to hear a “one night only” rendition of the iconic style. Though I placed a few guesses as to who that artist may have been, I was completely blindsided when Bad Bunny told The News-Letter that the song would feature both Ron Daniels and Michael Bloomberg, turning the piece into a cyberpunk duet. Bad Bunny reflected on how he came to this decision in his interview.

“I think it’s important to show that the academic and artistic worlds aren’t isolated,” he said. “I wanted to bring in the ‘big guys’ from this school to help prove that point.”

Tickets will go on sale April 31 at 5:30 a.m. EST for a starting price of $45 that will increase exponentially per week. While venue and carrying capacity are not yet determined, we expect a total of 1,500 tickets to be available — first come, first served.
