What better way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon than to try out a new cafe?

Sacré Sucré in Fells Point is a hidden gem that deserves its flowers. This pastry shop turned cafe and tea haven is redefining what craftsmanship tastes like. From delicate macarons and golden viennoiseries to smooth soft serve and creamy matcha drinks, everything bursts with flavor. Even the coffee, sourced from Regalia and Prodigal — two of the most respected roasters in the United States — is exceptional. Sacré Sucré is more than dessert; it’s a Baltimore experience.

From the moment we arrived, the space felt airy yet cozy. Just steps from the waterfront, it’s the perfect spot for an iced drink after a hot day or a warm latte on a rainy one.

The staff greeted us with big smiles and thoughtful suggestions. After some tough choices, we went with the Sofia Petit Gateau, which was an Earl Grey mousse layered with almond praline and ganache, and the Pêche-Verveine, which was a peach trompe-l’oeil dessert with almond streusel, lemon verbena mousse and peach compote. Both were as picture-perfect as they were delicious.

For drinks, we tried a matcha latte, ube matcha and sakura matcha because yes, we love our matcha. The classic latte was smooth and velvety. The ube added a gentle vanilla-earthy note, while the sakura carried a delicate floral aroma.

Every pastry had the perfect crunch on the outside and a fluffy mousse inside — impeccable from start to finish.

Sacré Sucré made our week. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.
