Hopkins Medical student wins Baltimore Marathon

When fourth-year medical student Jordan Tropf gathered with thousands of other runners for the start of the 17th Annual Baltimore Marathon on Oct. 21, he expected to be competitive and race with the frontrunners. What Tropf did not expect was to win the race by over three full minutes. At his pace, this meant he was over a half a mile in front of the second-place finisher.

Volleyball’s historic win streak comes to an end

The Hopkins women’s volleyball team’s 18-game winning streak ended on the road against the 25th ranked Stevenson University Mustangs, losing 3-1 on Thursday. After the loss, the Jays bounced back and swept the Ursinus College Bears on Saturday.

Men’s Soccer remains unbeaten in Conference

The men’s soccer team improved their undefeated Conference record this past week with two more wins: the first at home against the McDaniel College Green Terror by a score of 2-0 and the second on the road against the Ursinus College Bears by a score of 6-0.



Tenth-ranked W. Soccer secures spot in playoffs

The Hopkins women’s soccer team continued their torrid pace with two more wins this past week, beating the McDaniel College Green Terror earlier on the road and then beating Centennial Conference rival, the Swarthmore College Garnet, on Saturday at home. The two wins guaranteed the Jays a spot in the Conference Tournament.

Field hockey earns fifth consecutive shutout

The Hopkins women’s field hockey team continued their strong season this past weekend as the Jays defeated the Swarthmore College Garnet 4-0 to clinch a berth to the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time since 2014.

Water polo defeats MIT for D-III Championship

After competing in the Harvard Invitational last Friday, the Hopkins water polo team traveled straight to Cambridge, Mass. on Saturday for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Eastern Championship at MIT.
