A packed weekend of vintage gems and comic grooves across the city!

Exams may be in full swing, but Baltimore’s weekend lineup offers a much-needed break from the grind. From the immersive sounds of the Diffusion Festival to live music at Dam Jam, local art at Evergreen’s Holiday Market and vintage treasures at Union Collective, there’s plenty to explore before ending the weekend with Astronaut Symphony’s cosmic performance.

Friday

Diffusion Festival, 9 W. 25th St., 8 p.m.

Kick off the weekend with an evening of immersive sound at the Diffusion Festival, a two-day celebration of electroacoustic music. The opening night features contemporary works presented by the Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theater in an intimate audio-only setting. Tickets are $16.65 including fees.

Saturday

Dam Jam Festival, 1000 Lakeside Dr., 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Celebrate the season at the Dam Jam Festival with live performances from local musicians, artisan vendors and outdoor activities for all ages. Enjoy a day of community, creativity and nature at one of Baltimore County’s scenic parks. Admission is free, and pre-registration is open.

Holiday Makers’ Market, Evergreen Museum & Library, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Shop local at Evergreen’s annual Holiday Makers’ Market featuring handmade jewelry, stationery, artwork and more from Baltimore artists. Visitors can also enjoy free parking, garden access and admission to the Art Glass at Evergreen exhibition.

Sunday

Baltimore Vintage Expo, Union Collective, 1700 W. 41st St., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Step into a treasure hunter’s dream at the Baltimore Vintage Expo, a one-day market featuring premier dealers of vintage clothing, antiques, jewelry and decor. Early bird shopping runs from 9–11 a.m. for dedicated collectors, followed by free general admission from 11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Astronaut Symphony, Keystone Korner Baltimore, 1350 Lancaster St., 5 p.m.

Blast off into a galaxy of sound with Astronaut Symphony, a genre-blending performance led by pianist and composer Scott Patterson. Mixing funk, rock and opera into a bass-driven cosmic experience, the show draws inspiration from Alice Coltrane, Sun Ra and Earth, Wind & Fire. Tickets range from $35 to $45.
