Halloween weekend has arrived, and Baltimore is buzzing with ways to celebrate. Whether you’re exploring Edgar Allan Poe’s eerie world, dancing in costume or catching a symphonic twist on classic horror, there’s plenty to do before the candy runs out. From Ekiben’s Baolloween deals to a live Rocky Horror performance and a spine-tingling concert at the Meyerhoff, this weekend offers thrills, treats and a perfect way to close out spooky season.

A Tell-Tale Halloween: An Edgar Allan Poe Event, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Central Library, 400 Cathedral St., 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Spend Halloween immersed in the world of Edgar Allan Poe at the Central Library’s Poe Room. View rare artifacts, manuscripts and films inspired by Poe’s stories, including screenings of The Tell-Tale Heart and The Fall of the House of Usher. Visitors can also craft their own haunting tales or poems during the event. Admission is free.
Halloween Costume & Dance Party, Peabody Heights Brewery, 401 E. 30th St., 6–10 p.m.
Kick off Halloween night at Peabody Heights Brewery with its first-ever costume and dance party. The evening starts with a community potluck at 6 p.m., followed by a DJ set with Nicholai Wojtowycz spinning spooky beats outdoors. Costumes are encouraged and admission is free.
Baolloween at Ekiben, all locations, 4:30 p.m. until closing
Ekiben is celebrating Halloween with a deal worth dressing up for. Show up in costume and score $5 buns or $8 bowls at any of its three Baltimore locations. The offer is valid for in-person orders only, with one deal per person.

Chocolate Covered Rocky Horror, Baltimore Center Stage, 700 N. Calvert St., 8:30 p.m.
Celebrate Halloween weekend with a live shadow-cast performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the acclaimed ensemble Chocolate Covered Rocky Horror. This high-energy show blends music, dance and audience participation with a distinctly Black, queer reinterpretation of the cult classic. Tickets are $40.

Haunted Hall: Halloween Film Favorites, Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral St., 3 p.m.
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra wraps up the Halloween weekend with a symphonic celebration of classic film scores. This concert features spine-tingling favorites from horror and fantasy soundtracks, paired with visuals and dramatic lighting inside the Meyerhoff. With conductor Damon Gupton, several classics and horror film scores (including music composed for the movies Jaws and Alien) will be played. Tickets range from $31 to $109.
