There are lots of exciting events happening in Baltimore this weekend, especially for alumni visiting Hopkins!

It’s Alumni Weekend at Hopkins! If you’re on campus, check out these events happening over the course of the weekend. If you want to get off campus a bit, though, explore these events happening around Baltimore!

Friday

Cinnaholic Canton Crossing’s Grand Opening, 10 a.m. 2 p.m.

This one is for the sweet tooths out there! Cinnaholic is opening a new location in Canton Crossing, and for the first four hours of its opening, cinnamon rolls are $2 only! Orders must be placed in person

Saturday

Vintage Black Expo, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Head to 847 N. Howard Street this Saturday to shop vintage clothing, art, photos and more from Black-owned businesses. The expo will have more than shopping as well — there will be refreshments, a vintage fashion show and live entertainment! Buy tickets here for $12.24.

Pajama Party Latin Dance Night, 8 p.m. 12:30 a.m.

SalsaNow is hosting salsa lessons at the Guilford Hall Brewery this Saturday night at 8 p.m. Following the lesson, enjoy a night of dancing, eating and (for those who are 21+) drinking! Tickets are $10, or $11 if paid with Venmo or PayPal. Don’t forget to show up in your best set of pajamas!

Sunday

Public Opening of The Culture, 1 – 5 p.m.

The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century is having its public opening at the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) this Sunday. There will be free admission to the exhibit the entire day, as well as food and entertainment on a rotating schedule. Make sure to check out the schedule and plan your visit to the BMA!

Baltimore Plant Swap, 12 – 5 p.m.

The Peabody Heights Brewery is hosting a plant swap this Sunday afternoon. Local vendors will be selling goods as well as the typical food and beverages available at the Peabody Heights Brewery. Plant lovers can bring their own plants for the chance to swap with other attendees or leave them on the “free” table for another lucky guest!
