You can find hints of the coming spring in all kinds of events this weekend!

There are just a few more weeks left of school, and the wrapping up of classes means the full bloom of spring! As the weather gets warmer, Baltimore starts booming with events. 

Friday

Opening Reception: Tyshay Thomas, 5:308:30 p.m. 

The Baltimore Art Gallery is welcoming a new exhibit from Tyshay Thomas, a MICA-grad now based in Baltimore. Come enjoy some live music, have a drink and meet the artist in person! 

Shark Alley Tour, 3:154 p.m.

The National Aquarium is opening a special tour to see all the hidden details behind their shark alley exhibition! You will be led through a 45-minute tour on the catwalk above the shark tank and see how they are fed.

Saturday 

Baltimore Plant and Garden Supply Swap, 24 p.m.

The fourth annual plant and garden supply swap is this Saturday! If you love gardening, make sure to bring a few items of your own to see what you can trade for. The event is free and conveniently located near Penn Station. 

The Big Baltimore Kite Fest, 12–4 p.m.

Go out and enjoy the sun at the kite festival held at the Patterson Park Observatory. You can fly your own kite (available for purchase at the event), see other impressive kites or just have a picnic with hundreds of kites over your head! 

Sunday

AJR Concert, 1:35 p.m.

The indie pop band AJR is coming to the CFG Bank Arena here in Baltimore! This is to celebrate their recently released studio album, “The Maybe Man.” Tickets start at $40 and selling fast!
