Happy early Valentine’s Day, Blue Jays! Whether you plan on celebrating with a significant other, best friends or have a solo, self-love weekend, here are some activities you and your loved ones can do this weekend to get in the Valentine’s Day spirit.

Friday

WINE + CHOCOLATE Event, 5 – 9 p.m.

Are you a fan of wine or chocolate? Learn how to impress your friends during future dinner parties at this wine and chocolate tasting event, where “professional chefs and wine vendors” have prepared drink and dessert samples for your enjoyment! Hosted at The Garage in Station North, it is easy to get to from campus. At the event, you will also have the chance to mingle with homemade craft vendors and listen to live music. 21+ tickets range from $20 $40.

Saturday

Mini Valentine’s Day Market, 12 – 6 p.m.

Get a head start on your Valentine’s Day shopping while also supporting small businesses! Maxi Cif Designs’ mini market, which is taking place at R. House, will feature 10 different businesses and vendors. Those who are 21+ are also invited to stop by the R. Bar for a Valentine’s-Day-themed cocktail!

Love Struck Valentine’s Day Party, 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Grab your best friends and head downtown this weekend to kickstart your Valentine’s Day celebration at this 18+ event. Bonus points if you dress on-theme: tickets are $5 for those wearing pink!

Sunday

SUNDAY NIGHTS at the CUP, 7 – 11 p.m.

Enjoy American pub food (and, for those 21+, drinks as well) at The Admiral’s Cup in Fells Point this Sunday while also listening to the live performance of SoulTET’s Jordan Mills and Tyler Bartram joining Alana Florio. More information can be found here

Super Bowl Watch Party at The Point!, 7 – 11:30 p.m.

For a break from Valentine’s-Day-themed events, head down to The Point in Fells Point to watch the Super Bowl! It is free to reserve your spot at the watch party; football-themed specials on food and drinks are promised.
