Cross country duels at Dickinson

The men's and women's cross country teams journeyed to the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational last weekend. Both teams took first place in the 8K and placed in the top three overall.

The men were awarded third place overall with the combined scores of the 8K and the 4K. Leading the way for the squad in the 8K was sophomore Max Robinson. Graduate student Brandon Hahn finished in 10th place and senior Brett Schwartz finished in 13th.

In the 4K, the team took 14th overall on the short run, with sophomore Andrew Carney snagging 31st place.

On the women's side, Hopkins took first in the long course and second place overall. On the 6K, freshman Hannah Eckstein took seventh and sophomore Holly Clarke placed eighth.

In the 4K, two freshmen, Ingrid Johnson and Julia Broach, took top 10 positions and the Jays took second place overall

The men's and women's teams have both finished in third place or better in all their events so far this season.
