*NSYNC's JC performs in Washington

By Emily Nalven | February 19, 2004

Former *NSync star and teen heartthrob JC Chasez is coming to Washington, D.C. this weekend. He'll be performing live with rapper/comedian Nick Cannon on Friday night at Club Nation as he headlines the Hot 99.5 Morning Messfest.

JC is coming to D.C. in the midst of a hectic promotional campaign for his new solo CD Schizophrenic, which goes on sale next week and features the hit singles "Some Girls" and "Shake It." He co-wrote all 15 songs on the CD, and collaborated with The Basement Jaxx, giving his new look an electronic feel versus the bubblegum pop of *NSync. He follows fellow band member Justin Timberlake in starting a solo career.

Tickets for the show are $20, and doors open at 6 p.m., with JC scheduled to go on stage at 7:30 p.m. If you want to relive those days when you used to have posters of *NSYNC all over your bedroom, then this show is for you! Grab your friends and head to Washington D.C. on Friday, Feb. 20 to see JC Chasez take a stab at a solo career.
