Hopkins women’s lacrosse also made the trip to Loyola on Feb. 18. The Greyhounds were ranked ninth overall nationally. Hopkins lacrosse came into the matchup fresh off a dominant win over the University of Albany, while this was the first match for the Loyola Greyhounds.
Men’s Basketball took the No. 1 seed ahead of this week’s Centennial Conference Tournament after winning against Ursinus College 85–76 on Feb. 18. Women’s basketball turned a one-point deficit into a 21-point victory against Ursinus thanks to a 23–3 second-half run. The Blue Jays secured the No. 1 seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament with the win on Feb. 18.
In a rather anticlimactic finale to a long, suspenseful search, Todd Monken, former offensive coordinator for the University of Georgia, was hired as offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens on Feb. 14.
