Spend this weekend exploring all that Baltimore has to offer! 

This weekend, explore Baltimore! Check out these walking tours and shopping opportunities in the city. 

Friday 

Highlandtown First Friday Art Walk, 5 – 9 p.m. 

Occurring on the first Friday of every month, this event takes you on a self-guided “art walk” through the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. The virtual map provides not only gallery locations but food and drink stops as well. Enjoy dining specials while making your way through the tour at your own pace! The walk is free to attend. 

Saturday  

April 2023 Book Event!, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

Head to The Book Thing of Baltimore this Saturday for the chance to browse for 55 minutes at its monthly book giveaway! The line will form outside, and entrances will be staggered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that The Book Thing requires masking! More information is available here

MAKIN’ IT RAIN: a Vintage and Makers Market, 12 – 5 p.m. 

Head to the Ministry of Brewing this weekend to do some shopping from over 15 vendors! Check out the full list of vendors who will be there online

Sunday

Black History Tour Baltimore BROMO District, 12 – 3 p.m. 

Showcasing research completed at the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Baltimore City Archives and Maryland Center for History and Culture, this tour will take you through what was once known as Baltimore’s “Market Center.” Guests will learn about Baltimore landmarks in the area through the lens of social justice and Black history. Purchase tickets online for $28.52 including fees.
