In Search of Safety: Stories about migration and displacement

Listen to the stories of those who have experienced the effects of modern attitudes on migration. This event features the stories of refugees and immigrants as well as the Hopkins faculty who work with them. Free.

Grown Up Field Trip: The Force

Maryland Science Center

6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy a Star Wars themed night at the Maryland Science Center! Featuring activities such as Ewok engineering, Chewbacca Roar Competition and a land speeder maze. All proceeds benefit educational programs at the Maryland Science Center. 21+, $30.


Roll Up Pop-Up

R. House

11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Visit local food hall R. House for this week’s creative spring roll based pop-up concept! The Pop-Up is a space for local food ventures to enter the food scene with lower risk than a restaurant investment.


Saturday

Christmas Village in Baltimore

401 Light Street

11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Celebrate the yearly holiday tradition by visiting the annual Christmas Village! This market features holiday themed items and local artisans and craftsmen. This weekend is the Preview Weekend, so make sure to stay for the Tree Lighting Ceremony! Free.


BMI Farmers' Market

Baltimore Museum of Industry

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Go for the second to last market of the season! Purchase a wide variety of produce, eggs, meats and oven-fresh breads by the harbor. Featuring family-friendly activities with live music, community interest vendors and local food and drink.

All You Can Eat Wings
