Don’t miss out on all the fun events around the city this weekend!

Leave campus and your midterms behind for all kinds of fun activities around the city this weekend, from comedy shows to farmers' markets! 

Friday

Shane Gillis Live, 7–8:30 p.m. 

One of the best up-and-coming stand-up comedians, Shane Gillis, is coming to The Lyric! Catch him this Veteran’s Day weekend as he continues his tour around the country. 

Music Under the Dome: Wish You Were Here, 7–10 p.m. 

The Maryland Science Center is hosting a special music event where you can listen to Pink Floyd’s legendary Wish You Were Here album along with a curated presentation in the planetarium. There is also a complimentary happy hour. 

Saturday 

Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmers Market, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. 

The Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmers Market hosts the most impressive collection of small produce vendors in the area! You can find items ranging from fresh-baked bread and flowers to artisan items. 

Patterson Park Brew Fest, 12–4:30 p.m. 

The annual Patterson Park Brew Fest is back! Join the crowd for live music, food trucks and, of course, specials from local brewing companies. This weekend has some of the last warm days of the year, so take advantage of it! 

Sunday

The Hot L Poets Series Featuring Edgar Kunz and Anders Carlson-Wee, 4–5 p.m.  

Looking for a quick study break? Head to Bird in Hand for a poetry reading session featuring Edgar Kunz and Anders Carlson-Wee. There is also an open mic segment where you are welcome to contribute a spoken-word piece that is three minutes or less!
