With the spring weather kicking in, there's really very little reason for you to stay in your cubicle on D-Level. Why not bring your books out and enjoy the sun? The Beach might be too distracting with the frisbee and the music going on, but there are plenty of other places where you can actually be constructive, or even just meditate the day away with the stillness around you.

DECKER GARDENS

Located behind Gilman Hall, this garden is the perfect place to ponder on the big questions about life. You never know, the goldfish swimming in pond might give you some inspirations. Take advantage of the fact that not many people actually know about this garden!

BUFANO SCULPTURE GARDEN

You've probably run across these strange stone structures on your way to the Recreation Center. With the tall trees surrounding you, you feel like you're in a completely different world. Best when you need a break from the routine that you go through every single day.

LOWER QUAD

Most quiet in late afternoon when people are done with classes and start c hilling on the beach. Beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom.

MATTIN CENTER

Just outside the Mattin Cent er where the sculpture is, you'll find a nice place to sit and relax especially right before it turns dark.
