In October, I created a list of NBA contenders. Now that the NBA season is in full swing, I will look back on my predictions to see where I was correct and where I was wrong.

The Hopkins wrestling team hosted the first annual Bradlee’s Bash on April 23 in memory of Bradlee LaMontagne, who passed away in 2020. The outdoor event that reflected Bradlee’s love for spikeball, ice cream and spending time with friends outside.
The Phoenix Suns, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) only 60-win team and prohibitive favorite to make the finals, are tied 2-2 with the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Pelicans were the nine seed and had to fight their way into the playoffs via the play-in tournament.
Hopkins men’s lacrosse faced off against the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions on the stormy Saturday evening of April 16. The Blue Jays proved too much for Penn State, recording a 13-10 victory for their second win in the Big Ten.

After a blowout win against Swarthmore College in the Centennial Conference championship game, Hopkins advanced on to the NCAA Division-III Men’s Basketball Tournament, which ultimately ended in a heartbreaking loss to Stockton University in the second round.
Women’s tennis took on the Washington and Lee University Generals on Feb. 26 in their first meeting since 2018. The Jays looked to bounce back from their season-opener loss against Towson University but fell short, losing 1-8.
