The holiday season is starting to roll in, so get festive with these awesome events this weekend!

While it certainly hasn’t felt like it lately, fall in Baltimore is ramping up as we quickly approach the holiday season! Check out these exciting events before you leave for Thanksgiving break.

All Weekend

Maryland Irish Festival, Nov. 11 13

Head to the Maryland State Fairgrounds for a weekend-long celebration of Irish culture! The festival is packed to the brim with musical performances, dance showcases and a myriad of Irish vendors. Tickets range from $21–$28 depending on the day of attendance and can be purchased on the festival website.

Saturday

Inner Harbor Ice Rink Opening, 12 p.m.

This Friday, the Inner Harbor Ice Rink will open for its winter season until Jan. 16! Tickets to skate are $10 with a $4 skate rental fee. The rink is open seven days a week, so be sure to check the website for the hours of operation. 

Shop Small, Holiday Crawl, 10 a.m. 4 p.m.

Celebrate the wonderful small businesses in the Remington area at this mini-market! B. Willow and Mount Royal Soap Co. are hosting 20 Baltimore vendors to help you start your holiday shopping. Ekiben, Cocina Luchadoras and Cafe Los Suenos will also be in attendance to provide food and drinks. Find more details on Facebook.

5th Annual Patterson Park BrewFest, 12 4:30 p.m.

Patterson Park is the place to be this Saturday. Come enjoy over 40 local brews, a host of food trucks, restaurants ranging from Haitian to Peruvian food and live entertainment in one of the city’s best green spaces. Tickets start at $39 on EventBrite.

Sunday

Beer & Books: A Book Fair, 8 a.m. 2 p.m.

The Ministry of Brewing is partnering with Greedy Reads and Dreamers and Make Believers to emulate the scholastic book fairs we all know and love with an adult twist. Come enjoy barbecue food, local art vendors, book shopping, a drag queen story hour and beer tastings. Find more details on Facebook.
