The weather unfortunately hasn’t let up on us yet, but don’t let the cold stop you from having some fun this weekend! Check out these events to see what’s happening in art, food and festivities this weekend in Baltimore. 

All Weekend

Baltimore Restaurant Week is happening all weekend! Read up on which restaurants are participating and where you can find some of the best deals in the city. 

Friday

Highlandtown First Friday Art Walk: February 2022, 5-9 p.m.

If you’re looking for some new art to spruce up your apartment or house, head down to Highlandtown to check out art show pop-ups from several local galleries, You can also grab a bite to eat while you browse. Check out the participating restaurants and galleries here and RSVP here.

Saturday

Checkerspot Brewing Company Valentine's Market, 12-4 p.m.

Looking to get a head start on your Valentine’s Day shopping? Check out this market in South Baltimore to browse local vendors selling candles, embroidery, stationery, apparel and more. The list of vendors and RSVP for the event can be found here.

Peabody Heights Brewery: Lunar New Year and Fundraiser for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Baltimore, 6-10 p.m.

Celebrate Lunar New Year and support a terrific cause all in one night. The brewery will be hosting karaoke with catering from Ekiben, a Hampden favorite. The night will also feature lion dancing performances by U.S. Jow Ga Martial Arts. Tickets are not required, but you can respond to the Facebook event here

Sunday

The Brass Tap Sunday Jazz Brunch, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Brass Tap offers weekly Sunday brunches alongside fantastic live music from the the Michael Raitzyk Jazz Trio. It offers mimosa flights and some enticing brunch specials, including chicken and waffles, skillets and biscuits. Enjoy food, drinks and jazz on the restaurant’s patio! Chuck’s Trading Post Small Batch BBQ Pop-Up Dinner, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

If you don’t want to venture too far off campus this weekend but are still looking for some delicious food, you’re in luck! This pop-up BBQ dinner in Hampden at Chuck’s Trading Post will have Texas-style brisket, North Carolina-style pulled pork, appetizers and desserts for $28 a ticket. Buy tickets for the dinner here
