Queer Curiosity

The Walters Art Museum

7 - 8 p.m.

Baltimore artist Alexander D’Agostino presents a “part séance and part dance,” as described by the museum website. Inspired by the Walters’ rare book collection, the performance incorporates queer history and art. Free.

Friday

Baltimore Comic-Con 2018

Baltimore Convention Center

1 - 7 p.m.

The annual three-day convention begins this Friday! Swing by in costume and attend panels by leading cartoonists, writers and designers. $25.

 

Noah Cyrus with Maty Noyes

Baltimore Soundstage

7 p.m.

Noah Cyrus is stopping by Baltimore as part of her The Good Cry Tour! Enjoy her first headlined concert series, featuring special guest Maty Noyes. $20.

Saturday

Baltimore Japan Art Festival

Station North Arts District

11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Presented by Nippon Motion, the annual festival celebrating Japanese art returns. Featured guest Yusuke Nakamura will lead several sessions, including a Q&A on his new exhibition at the Rosenberg Gallery. Some events require registration. Free.

 

Interactive Movie Night: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Shout the lines and win prizes while watching the movie starring the character who inspires us to skip classes now and then. Show up early for a $5 game pack! $12 in advance, $15 at the door.

The Big Ice Cream Social

Presented by Ben & Jerry’s and Taharka Brothers, enjoy musical performances, Baltimore-centric discussions and of course, free ice cream. Come for the food and stay to hear a keynote speech by Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s! Free.
