One of America’s most beloved television classics bursts back to life as the national tour of I Love Lucy Live on Stage begins its two-week stay at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre. Drawing sizable attendance from the Hopkins community, The Sheridan Libraries unveiled an exhibit showcasing nearly 70 rare items of literary deception at the George Peabody Library. “Fakes, Lies and Forgeries” opened on Sunday, Oct. 5 and will remain open through Feb. 1.

The historic Charles Theatre located on 1711 N. Charles St. recently released its Revival Series fall schedule and will play the films included in its original 485-seat theatre. These classic flicks will be screened one to three times a week on either Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., Mondays at 7 p.m. or Thursdays at 9 p.m. Matinee tickets cost $7.50 and evening tickets are $9.50.

Freshman Caroline McCown, a Global Environmental Change and Sustainability major, founded the group and plans to make Hopkins Threads the fashion central for students.

Before voting for the Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board begins on Friday, Hopkins clubs classified as Advocacy and Awareness groups have banded together to form the Advocacy and Awareness Alliance, which vowed to endorse certain candidates who promise to meet the alliance’s demands while in office.

Thomas Dolby, most well known for his 1982 New Wave hit “She Blinded me with Science,” is joining the Hopkins faculty as the first ever Homewood Professor of the Arts. Dolby is currently preparing to take the reigns of the Sound on Film course, which focuses on the creation of film soundtracks.

Approximately 640 freshmen students and 60 faculty and administrative members dined together at the fifth annual Freshman High Table Dinner. Held Tuesday evening in a transformed Ralph S.
