Hopkins women’s basketball improved to 6-1 on Saturday, Dec. 2 with a win over Centennial Conference opponent Muhlenberg College. Hopkins football is now ranked as the eighth-best team in D-III football after an impressive 34–28 victory over 22nd-ranked Muhlenberg College on Saturday, Oct. 28. Hopkins was ahead for most of the game, but a late surge by the Muhlenberg Mules left the game tied with two minutes remaining. The improbable then happened, as a blocked kick by the Mules was returned for a touchdown by the Blue Jays to win the game.
Women’s soccer improved to 4-1-1 on Saturday with a win over Muhlenberg College, the Blue Jays’ Centennial Conference foe. Hopkins entered this game as the fourth-ranked team in the country, coming off a 2-2 draw against The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), while the Muhlenberg Mules came into the matchup unranked with a 2-2-1 record, having just won a nail-biter 1-0 over Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham.
