With the NFL Draft beginning this Thursday, we have one last opportunity to look at the possibilities that could unfold and to delve into a bit of the chaos. A lot of these teams have already been “locked in” to take certain players; however, if previous drafts are anything to go by, there will most certainly be some crazy moves that occur, so it’s best to take these mock drafts merely as a thought experiment rather than gospel. I’ll be giving some of my thoughts on the first 15 picks and then going through what I believe will transpire throughout the rest of the first round.

On the other side of the country, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Detroit Lions at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Both games are predicted to be incredibly exciting; the Ravens will be playing their first AFC Championship final in 11 years, since their win at Super Bowl XLVII. Quarterback Lamar Jackson has had an amazing season, which is a stark contrast to last January, and is “locked in” to lead the Ravens to the trophy. The Chiefs, on the other hand, are looking to defend their title, bringing in heavyweights like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

70. This is the number of points that the Denver Broncos conceded in their week 3 loss against the Miami Dolphins. Looking back, it’s difficult to believe that game was played this season, and even more difficult to believe that it got worse from there. Two week ago, I wrote this article for the Western Conference. This time, we’re looking at the Eastern Conference.
