It is often remarked that there is nothing fun to do or nowhere fun to shop around school. Granted, we may not live in the most lively college town in America, but if you open your eyes to the quaint surroundings known as Charles Village, you'll discover there are some pretty awesome places to check out, only steps from campus.

So, you're going on a date. Like most of us, you're a poor college student who can't afford anything too extravagant. And yet, you really want to impress this potential partner. Another problem: You're not exactly what one might call a Casanova, and your girl likes a little romance. That's ok, not all of us are hopeless romantics, who sit around watching mushy flicks and dreaming about the perfect date all our lives. There might be countless other obstacles you face in planning this romantic evening such as time, transportation and originality.

So maybe you've decided that beer is disgusting now that you've experienced the watery concoctions served at fraternity parties. Kama Sutra. Having read only these two simple words, I'm sure, has aroused many lurid thoughts in your imagination. This ancient Hindu sexual practice has become notorious in modern times for the adventure, mystery and challenge it offers. While some will balk over its mere feasibility, a surprisingly large number of people, whether or not they are aware of it or will openly admit to it, have prescribed to aspects of this difficult art form in an attempt to, shall we say, get the fun times a rollin'.

Colorado river rafting, mountaineering in the Andes, sea kayaking in the Bahamas and Outer Banks, trekking the Andes, white water rafting in Utah, sailing in the Puget Sound, rock climbing in Maine. Sound like fun? If your answer is yes, you are not alone. In the hum-drum world of school and work, many of us are anxious to get out and play once in a while.

As students of the Johns Hopkins University, we often see ads posted by the Medical school around campus, requesting participants for medical testing and experimenting. A number of students jump at the opportunity, envisioning sizeable pecuniary rewards as a result. Sometimes there is little risk involved in the experiment; other times the decision to participate in any kind of medical study or project requires much more consideration, as the involvement may affect the participant both psychologically and physically.

Slip knot, Screaming Orgasm, Wiggle Worm, Buttery Nipple, Salty Dog, Blow Job, Barney on Acid, Malibu Barbie, Cajun Swampwater, Chocolate Monkey, Dirty Mother, Godfather, Irish Car Bomb, Mind Eraser, Nutty Irishman. Now do I have your attention? Seeing as that I'm writing for a college audience, I'm guessing you know what I am referring to: a number of yummy shots with, well, interesting names to say the least. Shots and games involving taking shots can make the perfect party entertainment. And with the hilarious and somewhat embarrassing names most shots have, ordering them in itself can be a lot of fun.

This is the story of the sexiled - those poor, lonely students cast away from the comforts of their room for a short time, maybe a night, maybe even longer, so that their roommates might enjoy, shall we say, a short study break. Yes, it happens to most of us at some point during our college years when we are either the victim or the perpetrator in the act of sexiling.
