It’s never a pretty sight when your franchise quarterback is put on an exclusive tag — which the Baltimore Ravens enacted on March 7 — but it’s an even worse look when your franchise quarterback has to get on Twitter to dispel falsely reported contract numbers.

The Committee on Student Elections (CSE) announced the results of the 2023–2024 Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board and class council elections on the evening of March 15, three hours after voting closed. It would be a crime to shove all Indian cuisines into the category of “Indian food.” There are at least 10 main categories of Indian food with many other subcategories — butter chicken with naan is barely representative of the diversity of Indian food. Though, butter chicken with naan is amazing.

The Student Government Association (SGA) held its weekly general body meeting on March 14 to present adjustments in the Student Activities Commission (SAC) Guidelines, a counter proposal for the Phi Delt Crab Fest and amendments in the constitution for caucuses. SGA also discussed the Gift of Life, Blue Hatchlings, Copa America and Fiji Islander presentations.

Utilizing 3D cultures of human brain cells, Hopkins researchers found promising evidence that the future of biocomputing has the potential to be faster, more powerful and dramatically more energy-efficient than silicon-based computing and artificial intelligence. They have coined the term of this new concept as organoid intelligence. The team’s article, published in the journal Frontiers in Science, outlines their plans and goals for organoid intelligence.

As we get closer to NFL free agency, many teams made big moves before the March 15 deadline. The San Francisco 49ers are no exception. Having lost many valuable players like offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (or the Aaron Donald equalizer) and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair to the Tennessee Titans, cornerback Emmanuel Moseley to the Detroit Lions and offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey to the Denver Broncos, the front office has a lot of pressure to replace these lost pieces.
