"I’m triggered.” You hear it everywhere these days: from people walking out of an exam, from an upperclassman walking into the FFC, or from your friends when you remind them about that one stupid drunk night.

Throughout negotiations thus far, the inability of British Prime Minister Theresa May’s Cabinet to decide on what kind of Brexit it wants and on what its future relationship with the EU is to be has consistently frustrated the EU’s negotiating team, led by Michel Barnier. By August, May had lost any semblance of unity with her ministers. The department not only freely leaked documents to the British press but also spoke openly about their opposition to May’s and her Cabinet’s positions on Brexit.

The real impact that the spread of the plant has had is seen in striking photos of kudzu covering trees, telephone poles and abandoned vehicles, transforming the land into a homogenous mass of green; creating a cautionary tale against invasive species.

Hemp is required by the FDA to have a tetrahydrocannabinol (more commonly known as THC) concentration of under 0.3 percent. On the other hand, marijuana can have concentrations at 20 percent or even higher, depending on the strain. So, a word of warning, eating hemp will not make you high, though it is fairly effective as a laxative according to one 2014 study. The reason for this disparity centers around plant sex, or what others might refer to as pollination.

Unlike creator Greg Berlanti’s recent work on The CW, most notably its Arrowverse programming block, the sophomore series does not feature any superheroes. However, Riverdale’s Betty does ardently display many characteristics of the heroes of Supergirl and Arrow as she helps lead her friends and family through the small town’s darkest hour.

Like hundreds of other freshmen, I began my first year by signing up for dozens of student groups. But what really changed the course of my life at Hopkins was the first time I walked into the Gatehouse — The News-Letter’s permanent office and home.
