Last week, the Hopkins baseball team won an impressive four games over the course of just six days, winning two against the McDaniel College Green Terror and two more against the Muhlenberg College Mules.
This past weekend, the Hopkins women’s lacrosse team fell to the Northwestern Wildcats in a grueling 11-10 loss. Despite the game’s disappointing finish, the Jays saw impressive performances from a variety of players. Freshman midfielder Shelby Harrison added an additional three draws to her record, landing her just two draws short of the school record for draws by a freshman, while sophomore midfielder Mackenzie Heldberg tallied four goals in the game.
Over spring break, the Hopkins men’s swimming team sent 13 swimmers to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis, IN. Throughout four days of competition, the men’s team saw an array of strong performances, resulting in an impressive fourth-place team finish.
This past weekend, the Hopkins baseball team took on Rutgers-Camden and Cortland State in the Baltimore Invitational. Despite a tough 11-2 loss to Rutgers-Camden on Saturday, the Jays triumphed the following day against the No. 1 team in the country, the Cortland State Red Dragons.
This past weekend, the Hopkins baseball team hosted the St. John Fisher Cardinals in a season-opening doubleheader. The Jays would finish the day with a 1-1 record, defeating St. John Fisher 7-1 in the first game before losing to the Cardinals 10-4 in the second.
This past weekend, the Hopkins men’s and women’s track and field teams headed to Boston, Mass. for the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. During the two days of competition, the Jays saw a variety of strong performances from both the men and the women.
This past Saturday, the Hopkins men’s and women’s track and field teams travelled to Lancaster, Pa. for the Diplomat Invitational, their first meet of the indoor season. Throughout the day of the competition, both teams saw a wide range of exemplary performances.
This past weekend the Hopkins football team travelled to Westminster, Maryland to take on the McDaniel Green Terror. Tensions were certainly high going into Saturday’s game.

This weekend, the Hopkins men’s water polo team traveled to California for the Gary Troyer Tournament. Though the team struggled in its first match versus the University of Redlands, the rest of the weekend was an undeniable triumph.
