The liberal paradigm is a nearly universal phenomenon in universities today, as it has been since the Vietnam era. However, over time, the voice of dissent has quieted. Having nearly finished my run as an American undergraduate, I wonder why we have become so complacent....

Of maybe we Americans are so pre-occupied with making money, pop-culture, and flat panel tv that we no longer care.
Also, with respect to college protest, this would change very quickly if the draft were re-instituted. Then it would be your problem and not someone elses.
