Abstract:
Choosing to become a Women, Gender, and Sexuality (WGS) minor was one of the smartest academic decisions I have made while at Hopkins. Overall, I have enjoyed the course offerings and definitely widened my knowledge of topics ranging from the American judicial system to abortion law to European philosophy to transgender individuals....

Your points are well made. I can see the value the course would increase in, by adding some of your ideas to the mix.
I do hope that you aren't waiting for a course on History of Feminism in America before you will actually take the time to learn about it. It is quite a facinating discovery and well worth the personal effort of self-education. There are a bounty of books and histories on the subject that can be found at any well stocked public library. Failing that, Britanica and World both have exceptional articles that can at least provide you with an overview.
Yours sincerely.
