I'm sorry, I have to take exception to the tone of this article. The constant use of "supposedly" and a sarcastic reference to "fragile nude bodies" and other remarks that are frankly in the realms of a childish 'nudge nudge, wink wink' view of naturism that any adult should have left behind years ago. Grow up!
What exactly does "All of these activities have the potential to be greatly interesting without clothes." mean? All of these activities are just as interesting with or without clothes, some people just happen to like the freedom of not having to wear clothes, that's all.
"Seems like a decent place for your average single, no?" Actually, no is the correct answer. Far too many clubs discourage singles in order to maintain the gender balance to which you refer. This can spoil naturist clubs for the single person.
FYI the world record that MARNA took part in as one of many such clubs was for the maximum number of people simultaneaously skinny-dipping. Just a bit of fun, that's all. A few seconds research on the internet would have told you that.
