"So why is it still so difficult to gain access to mental health treatment, even once a patient is diagnosed? The key to the problem is the way insurance companies offer and pay for treatment."

The above view is far too limited, the issue is politics, and a long series of politicans legislatively excusing insurance companies from providing coverage. By keeping our health systems separate but equal, politicans have harmed health care. As separate but "equal" education harmed our nation, separate but equal health care has.

Rehabs methods provide will power to patient to control themselves from drug and alcohol. Due to 12 step process, people loose interaction toward addicted substances. It gives a platform to live healthy life with family and society.
