With the advent of "infotainment" and the 24-hour cable news cycle, our public discourse on matters of such importance as the 2008 presidential election has become increasingly shrill....
Having volunteered at WYPR and known Marc from running into him when walking our dogs, I had to do some soul searching whether to continue to volunteer after his firing. I chose to stay on since I have supported local public radio for years.
It was certainly recless and ill advised decision for Brandon and the board. Marc needs to return to the air.
